Hosted QuickBooks Tip of the Week: Moving Columns on Your Reports in QuickBooks

Most users do not realize that you can customize your reports by moving your columns around to make more sense for the reader.

In order to move columns in your reports, simply place your mouse over the name of the column.  You will notice the mouse cursor turns into a hand. Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the column to where you would like it to be. Unclick the mouse button and now your column has been moved.

You can also re-size columns by clicking and dragging the diamonds between the columns.

Don’t forget to memorize your report if you plan to use it frequently.
