Swizznet shows how it helped a Pennsylvania advocacy group experience IT cost savings and secure, anytime/anywhere access to work files
Swizznet, the premier QuickBooks® hosting and online accounting solution provider, has published a case study illustrating how its platform helped a small non-profit organization experience IT cost savings and gain staffing flexibility via a distributed work force with anytime/anywhere data and file access. The case study features the Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disabilities (PAR), an organization providing support for member organizations that deliver $1.7 billion in autism and intellectual disability services statewide. PAR recently completed a transition from on premise to cloud-based bookkeeping and accounting using Swizznet's QuickBooks Hosting for Business platform.
"PAR is a great example that validates how Swizznet can deliver real value to organizations trying to stretch every dollar," said Kristin Callan, COO, Swizznet. "By using our platform, PAR was able to eliminate costly and bulky server stacks and reduce its dependency on IT consultants. Perhaps more importantly, simultaneous access by multiple users is no longer an issue. All employees, whether on site or working remotely, can easily stay connected – fostering collaboration and teamwork regardless of locale."
Additional Swizznet cloud-based accounting benefits of interest to non-profits:
- reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to on-premise systems
- reduced training costs
- enhanced data security via redundancy and lowered risk of theft
- reduced maintenance costs (i.e., software updates are automatically installed)
- data access via any computer (including public kiosks) or any mobile device
- easier scalability, letting systems expand to match organizational growth
