We are excited to announce that customers can now add multi-factor authentication via PhoneFactor. This enterprise-level authentication service uses a customer’s mobile device as the trusted source for secondary user verification. It’s especially useful for CPAs and accountants on the go that need convenient, tighter security to reduce organizational risk or to meet regulatory compliance.
With this added service, our clients can access data and applications using their existing usernames and passwords; after verification, the system pushes a notification via a phone call to the customer’s smartphone or tablet. Then, the customer simply confirms by entering a unique code that he or she wants access.
