More than five years ago, when I was first hired by Swizznet, I had my first introduction to QuickBooks Hosting and “Cloud Computing.” I called all 10 providers that I could find and got 10 very different spiels on everything from technology platforms (Citrix versus Terminal Services) to pricing, backups, tech support, and why cloud computing was the way of the future. It took me two weeks to talk to them all, do hands-on demo’s or trials and compile the information into something that actually made sense. Talk about making your head spin! Unless you’re an application service provider or a QuickBooks host, who has the time and energy, much less mental staying capacity to do go through that same evaluation process in order to find the right QuickBooks hosting provider for their business? Today it’s only more complicated with Intuit Authorized hosts, software license rental programs and even more providers in the market place.
We’re committed to helping you make sense of it all and ask the right questions so that you can find the right QuickBooks hosting and cloud computing solution for your business.
However, that’s another blog post waiting to be written.
