Swizznet customers can now retrieve documents and data without performing downloads on public access computers
Swizznet, the premier QuickBooks® hosting and online accounting solution provider, today announced that customers can now fully access their data and files from any remote public desktop computer or kiosk, such as those found in airport terminals, hotel lobbies, libraries and other common areas. Because Swizznet has eliminated the need to download an application for remote access, users can easily and securely sign into Swizznet’s cloud-based platform for QuickBooks from any public computer, anytime/anywhere, and immediately begin to work.
“This new, remote log-in feature is an example of our dedication to customer service,” said Kristin Callan, COO, Swizznet. “Users who are frequent travelers and those in distributed workstation offices asked for a quick way to access their Swizznet-hosted QuickBooks accounts. We’ve delivered — and our cloud-based solution avoids the common security problems users experience with public computers.”
Public computer terminals often block downloads for security purposes, so Swizznet has eliminated that need. Now, customers go directly to a website hosted in the cloud, and all data that streams back and forth is securely encrypted. This feature is especially useful for traveling CPAs and other users who don’t have immediate access to their computers, or to workers who travel from office to office using furnished computer terminals.
